It's a nice lead rope, but I gave it a 4 because my old Clinton Anderson lead rope is slightly heavier and seems to have a tighter weave than this one. All in all, however, I'm very happy with it.

wonderful rope, well finished. Exactly what I was looking for. The clip was not what I hoped. Seemed cheaper and didn't like the style. Will be switching the clip to a lead that is not used as much.

I have owned the Clinton Anderson ropes and find these to be of equal quality and weight. Great training aid.

It's perfect for ground work, the right thickness, strong and high quality for a reasonable fee. I like that the snap can be removed and replaced if needed. I don't usually write reviews, but this is a great product, and reasonably priced!

I'm a huge fan of the 14' lead ropes. I use the weighted end, with no hardware. The length gives me the leverage that I need to turn a horse that may be panicked but yet is still short enough to do ground work with. When using The Clip or a tie ring to teach a horse to stand tied, the 14' length is "always" enough rope to stay in the clip, but still allow the horse to get back enough to become relaxed. The materials are second to none and I will continue to use these for many years to come. Awesome Product.
